The Finalix Consulting Program
From day one, you’ll be placed directly on client projects, working at least two on-site engagements within 18 months. Our training program builds your functional, technical and methodological skills, while regular exchange with your mentor keeps you supported throughout. It’s a steep learning curve that shapes you into a Finalix consultant.

Meet Jonas Igel
The Consulting Program is designed to give people the confidence, experience and support they need to grow. Jonas' journey shows how that foundation can become a successful consulting career.
Jonas Igel joined Finalix with no background in banking or insurance. Coming straight from academia, the Consulting Program gave him the foundation he needed to hit the ground running. As he puts it: “Coming from a technical background, the Academy was my gateway into the world of business transformation.”
Today, Jonas is a Senior Consultant at a private bank, working across both the business and IT sides of transformation projects. What he values most about Finalix is the room to grow on your own terms. There is no preset path, and that makes all the difference.

Good to know
Do I need consulting experience to join?
Consulting experience helps, but it’s not a must-have. What matters most is relevant skills, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the willingness to learn fast. If that sounds like you, we’re happy to consider your application.
Do I need financial services experience?
It’s an advantage if you have it, but we also hire junior profiles with strong technical skills and train the functional side through our consulting program. A completed Master’s degree is required to join the program.
Where will I be based?
You’ll be based in either Zurich or Singapore. Our projects are usually local but travelling may be required for certain engagements. International travel is rare. The Finalix Consulting Program is offered in Zurich only.
Which language skills do I need?
Fluent English is required for our work. For Switzerland, German at a native or fluent level is also a must, as some of our clients are German-speaking. Any additional language is a plus.
What does the application process look like?
Send us your CV, and we’ll get to know you through a conversation about your profile and your aspirations. From there, the Finalix Assessment Center is one of the further steps. In the end, we’re looking for the right fit on both sides, for you and for us.
How is work-life balance at Finalix?
To meet our clients’ goals, extra effort is sometimes required, but we don’t lose sight of balance because of it. Where possible, we offer extended vacation or flexible working models, so you can perform at your best.
