Our office in Singapore

In 2019, we opened our second location in Singapore. Our team consists of twelve experts who develop, plan and support our clients’ projects. Find out

After almost 20 years as successful experts in the Swiss financial industry, Finalix has established a new office in Singapore at the beginning of 2019. Driven by demand from our current client base and the motivation to offer employees and business partners further geographical diversification, we have decided to open a new chapter in our company history. From February 2020, Managing Partner Michael Tscherter will be responsible for organically expanding our business and building a strong local project team.

The ongoing goal of expanding to APAC, with a focus on Singapore, is to build a second, integrated practice in our area of expertise. The current team is already working on projects in Singapore together with our clients.

We want to expand our business with new local hires and by transferring knowledge from Switzerland to Singapore. While the starting point is our Swiss client base, we also want to win new local clients and successfully implement projects in the areas of regulation, digitalisation and transformation.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is already helping wealth teams draft, search and analyse information. Turning those capabilities into dependable improvements across a bank is harder. Client records sit in different systems, onboarding passes through several teams, and a faster answer still needs a clear source and an accountable reviewer. Know your customer (KYC) work brings those pressures together, making it a useful test of whether AI can improve the business process around an adviser as well as the adviser’s own workload. That was the setting for a Hubbis webinar with Finalix on practical AI in banking. The accompanying presentation deck maps the conversation from front-office pain points and use-case selection through KYC, data integration, human oversight and the move into production. Ronnie Chan and Andrew Rufener opened with Finalix’s preliminary adviser-productivity research and an incremental approach to AI-enabled client lifecycle management. Michael Stanhope then moderated a Q&A with wealth practitioners from banks and a multi-family office. Their experiences gave the research a practical counterpoint: the same KYC challenge looks different when viewed from a large institution, a smaller office or the client facing repeated requests for information.
On September 2, 2026, Finalix hosted its Summer Apéro at Braschler‘s Bar in Frau Gerold’s Garten in Zurich.
Hubbis interviewed Finalix’s Ronnie Chan and Andrew Rufener on how banks can tackle front-office friction, from onboarding and KYC challenges to using AI for practical, scalable transformation.
